nADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDER (APP) - Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant - Neurosurgery - Cooper Camden The Advanced Practice Provider - APP (Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant) assumes responsibility for providing advanced medical care practice within a clinical specialty and the scope of education.
nnIn consultation with other members of the health care team, strengthens advanced medical care practice and promotes positive patient outcomes.
nnResponsibilities include clinical practice, staff and patient education, and research.
nnThe Advanced Practice Provide serves as a significant member of the multidisciplinary health care team in the inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
nEducation Requirements
nMaster's Degree - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is required
nLicense/Certification Requirements
nBoard certification Nurse Practitioner and Acute Care certification or Board certification as Physician Assistant; Active New Jersey License; American Heart Association BLS and CDS/DEA
