Job Description:
Provide outpatient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician
Dedicated to one physician
Full-Time Schedule
Austin Gastro - Primarily Kyle location, potentially South Austin & Dripping Springs depending on volume
No call responsibilities
No inpatient responsibilities
Seeing both new patients and follow-up patients, approximately 12 patients per full clinic day
Complete patient histories and physicals
Determine tentative diagnosis and order appropriate laboratory tests
Counsel patient and family on health and disease
Participate in all continuing education, training, and other requirements to remain in good standing for credentialing purposes at assigned medical facilities
Perform other duties as assigned
Required and Preferred Qualifications:
TX State Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Required
Comfortable working in a busy and thriving practice Required
Experience working as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Preferred
Gastrointestinal experience Preferred
