Job description
A prestigious private medical group in Manhattan is seeking a Nurse Practitioner and/or Physician Assistant for their Cardiology Department, providing top-notch cardiovascular care to patients
Responsibilities:
Conducting comprehensive cardiovascular evaluations and follow-ups
Managing a personal panel of 12-16 patients per day
Collaborating with cardiologists to develop and implement care plans
Providing patient education on heart health, medications, and lifestyle changes
Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications: 1-2 years of experience as a Cardiology NP/PA
Master's Degree
Active NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license
Board Eligible / Certified
Empathetic patient education abilities
Organizational skills for maintaining medical documentation
Adaptability to cover varying responsibilities
Desired Qualifications: Exposure to Obesity Medicine
Proficiency in Cardiovascular assessments
