Job description
A health services network in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a promising opportunity with their Urgent Care team in the Bronx
About the Opportunity:
Schedule: 312-hour shifts per week
Specialty: Urgent Care
Patient Population: All ages (mainly adults)
Call Schedule: Weekend rotations
Responsibilities: Perform assessment and interventions for each patient
Participate in interdisciplinary committees that influence or determine policies
Follow facility procedures/protocols for admitting residents, transferring to hospitals/clinics/outpatient visits
Complete appropriate documentation based on the established guidelines
Assist in defining, maintaining, and interpreting standards of practice
Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in an Urgent Care role/setting
Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree
NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license
Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
Patient oriented
Great interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong attention to detail
Highly organized
