Job Title: Surgical Physician Assistant (SPA)
Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Schedule: 6:00AM - 7:00PM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate : $125 - $130/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Neurosurgery Physician Assistant (SPA) for a locum tenens assignment in Boston, Massachusetts. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.

Qualifications
Current MA, NP or PA License
Board Certified
1 year of neurosurgery experience
Duties/Responsibilities
Perform basic wound care and dressing changes
Remove sutures and staples
Remove drains (JP drains, EVDs depending on facility protocols)
Monitor ICP, vital signs, and neurologic status
Conduct neurological assessments and document findings
Outpatient will involve managing post op patients, case management, ordering imaging, scans, etc.
