Advanced Practitioners - Urgent Care
Job Details:
Nurse Practitioner (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) opportunity serving Urgent Care communities throughout Fairfield County
Evaluate and treat a wide variety of acute illnesses and injuries across the full patient lifespan, from pediatrics through geriatrics
Perform laceration repair, suturing, and staple removal
Conduct incision and drainage procedures
Provide splinting and casting services
Manage wound care and IV therapy with medication administration
Perform EKG interpretation and preliminary X-ray interpretation
Conduct DOT, occupational, sports, and school physicals
Work collaboratively with experienced physicians and APP colleagues in a fast-paced environment
Full-Time position at 38 hours per week with flexible part-time option available at 24 hours per week
Rotating schedule within clinic hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-8:00 PM and Saturday-Sunday 9:00 AM-5:00 PM; weekend rotations shared across provider team
Providers may work across multiple Fairfield County locations including Trumbull, Fairfield, Norwalk, Westport, Stamford, Shelton, Stratford, Monroe, and Wilton
Must be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with Connecticut APRN or PA license (or eligibility)
FNP Board Certification or NCCPA Certification required
Minimum of one year of Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or comparable acute care experience required
Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience preferred; Occupational Medicine experience and DOT certification a plus
No call responsibilities
