Advanced Practitioners - Surgery
Job Details:
Seeking a Nocturnist Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join a talented and enthusiastic surgery team
Responsible for first-assisting in the operating room, rounding, bedside procedures, admissions, discharges, and consults
Work in collaboration with a number of surgeons across multiple service lines including General Surgery, Robotic Surgery, Bariatric Surgery, and Thoracic Surgery, with some coverage of Orthopedics and Vascular
Full-time, night shift schedule with flexible scheduling options available
No call required
High level of autonomy within a seasoned and experienced team
Inpatient surgery setting utilizing EPIC clinical technology
Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License required (or eligible)
RNFA certification required for Nurse Practitioners; AGACNP certification required
Minimum of 1+ year of experience in a surgery or related setting required; 2+ years preferred
Market-leading compensation including up to $30,000 in shift differentials on top of base pay
Paid CME time off plus CME budget, and reimbursed professional licenses and dues
