Responsible for the safety of staff and guests on the mountain, Ski Patrol are alert and dependable professionals focused on safety with the ability to remain calm in crisis when incidents arise.Job SpecificationsStarting Wage: $23.00/hr - $30.61/hrEmployment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027Shift Type: Full Time hours availableMinimum Age: At least 18 years of ageHousing Availability: YesJob ResponsibilitiesProvide first aid and lift evacuation support during summer Skyride operationsOrganize and conduct lift evacuation practicesAssist injured/ill guests on the mountain, transport ill/injured guests off the mountainAssist trail maintenance staff when Skyride is not operatingTransporting supplies and heavy equipment to areas of needOther duties as assignedJob Requirements3-5 years of previous patrol experience preferredMust be able to communicate fluently in EnglishMust have excellent guest service skillsMust work well in a team environmentMust be able to work in inclement weather in a mountain environmentMust have valid US driver's licenseMust be able to drive truck and UTV on approved routesMust have a current OEC medical certificationMust be cleared for Aerial lift evacuation per Vail Resorts guidelinesUnion Required Statement: The terms and conditions for the position are subject to a Collective Bargaining AgreementThe expected pay range is $23.00/hr - $30.61/hr.
