Job Description
The Program Director assumes primary fiscal and managerial responsibilities for the overall operation of the Advantage Program at MS 113 The Ronald Edmonds Learning Center.
Key Responsibilities
Support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Advantage Program.
Nurture partnerships with school administrators, grade level teachers, support staff, students, and families.
Assist in the development of academic instruction and enrichment arts.
Participate in the hiring, training, and supervision of staff.
Keep informed of current trends in youth development and education.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's Degree in Education, Psychology or Counseling. Certification in Administration and/or Supervision, or Educational Leadership preferred. Applicants must be proficient in MS Window XP, Word, Excel, Vista and PowerPoint. Five (5) years of teaching and/or administrative experience. Experience in out-of-school programming.
