n nIdeal candidate will be based in the Greater Columbus, Ohio area! Also open to remote candidates that reside in Eastern or Central time zones.
nWhat Internal Audit-Finance contributes to Cardinal Health
nFinance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.
nInternal Audit - Finance conducts financial and operational audits to ensure compliance with policies, procedures and regulations. This family evaluates and recommends improvements to business practices, processes and control procedures and manages Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and fraud investigations.
nResponsibilities
nnnAssist in leading efforts of managing and executing the SOX program including identifying, performing testing, and review of SOX controls, while working with and maintaining relationships with business.
n
nnWork directly with and perform substantive audit procedures on the behalf of our external auditors EY.
n
nnAssist with the transition of controls/processes of new acquisitions and business transformations.
n
nnAct as a subject matter expert in the related business/process being evaluated.
n
nnProvide assistance to less experienced staff as needed.
n
nnLead in department development efforts centered on Data Analytics, Training, Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DE&I), Career Development and other areas of impact.
n
n nQualifications
nnnBachelors degree in related field preferred, or equivalent work experience, preferred
n
nn3+ years internal or external audit experience, preferred
n
nnCertified Internal Auditor or Certified Public Accountant Preferred
n
nnGood communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
n
n nWhat is expected of you and others at this level
nnnApplies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects
n
nnMay contribute to the development of policies and procedures
n
nnWorks on complex projects of large scope
n
nnDevelops technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Solutions are innovative and consistent with organization objectives

nnCompletes work independently receives general guidance on new projects
n
nnWork reviewed for purpose of meeting objectives

nnMay act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues

n nAnticipated salary range: $80,900-$103,950
