Job description
Kellogg Garden Products , a family-owned and operated company with roots that span over four generations is seeking seasonal Advocates.
nIn this role you will:
nnIncrease sales of Kellogg branded items, by assisting customers with their soil purchases.
nWork in an assigned Home Depot store during peak selling seasons.
nStock displays and assist customers with general gardening projects.
n nJob Requirements:
nnMust be outgoing, friendly, and a good listener
nGood verbal and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse groups of people
nAbility to become knowledgeable of all company products and sales procedures
nAbility to proactively and effectively communicate with customers and store personnel
nAchieve sales goals established by management
nAbility to stand, bend, stoop, climb and lift heavy objects weighing 50 lbs. or more
nMust have a personal smartphone (Android 4.0 and up or iPhone 9.0 or later) with data
nOutdoor work environment
n nEmployment/Schedule/Hours:
nnSeasonal (February-June)
nFriday, Saturday, and Sunday
nMorning and early afternoon
n nEducation & Experience:
nnHigh School diploma or GED
n1 to 2 years previous sales or retail experience
nGarden experience is preferred but not required
