ROLE SUMMARY
Empire Fasteners is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to obtain vendor pricing, prepare
quotations for Sales Account Managers, expedite vendor orders, and provide expediting reports.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Review RFQs for part numbers, quantities, delivery needs, and documentation requirements.
* Obtain and compare vendor pricing, availability, lead times, and minimum quantities; negotiate within company guidelines.
* Prepare accurate quotations using approved costs and pricing guidelines for Sales Account Manager review.
* Expedite vendor orders, confirm shipping commitments, follow up on outstanding items, and escalate delays.
* Coordinate delivery priorities with Sales Account Managers and provide customers with expediting
* reports.
* Maintain accurate quotation, supplier, and open-order records.
* Work with Sales, Purchasing, Quality, and Operations to resolve sourcing, documentation, and delivery issues.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate has experience in supply chain, purchasing, sourcing, quoting, expediting, or sales support; strong attention to detail; effective communication skills; and proficiency with Excel and business systems. Aerospace, defense, or fastener distribution experience is preferred.
SALARY RANGE:
$24.00 - $34.00 per hour (depending on experience)
