A key component of the role of a Pharmacy Manager is keeping its customers and patients healthy by adopting and managing patient assistance programs.
In addition, you will:
Lead from the heart – show empathy and compassion for patients, customers, healthcare professionals, and colleagues.
Motivate, inspire, and develop pharmacy support staff by balancing activities that maximize strengths of colleagues, addressing development opportunities, and filling knowledge gaps.
Identify critical business opportunities and meaningful solutions to drive growth and improve performance in the pharmacy.
Successfully implement solutions by guiding the team to achieve specific goals.
Adapt to change and adjust change plans to thrive in a dynamic community health environment.
Seek new ways to grow, collaborate with others, and achieve better results.
Align others around a purpose to gain support and engagement.
Facilitate a team culture that fosters collaboration, care, energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
Qualifications
Active pharmacy license in the state where you are employed
Not on the DEA excluded party list
Immunization certified through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA)
Listed on state pharmacy license as a "pharmacist manager"
Submission of information/documents to your state’s PMP administrator to register for PMP access (in states with active PMPs)
