Job description
Hospice of Santa Cruz County seeks a Variable Staffing Nurse to provide after-hours coverage for weekends, evenings, nights and holidays. The role collaborates with Case Managers, Visit Support Nurses and Admission Nurses to respond to patient/family needs under the Plan of Care.
The VSN works with Triage, Patient Care Managers and Scheduling to determine whether to visit or use telehealth, aiming for compassionate end-of-life care and optimal symptom management.
