The business is known for its strong R&D capability, extensive patent portfolio, and ability to deliver high-efficiency, scalable automation that significantly reduces labour costs while improving operational performance.Following sustained global growth, the organisation is expanding its technical support presence across the United States.Role OverviewAs an After-Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of AGV and automated logistics systems across client sites. You will provide hands-on troubleshooting, maintenance, system support, and customer training, playing a key role in delivering a high-quality after-sales experience.This is a customer-facing, field-based role requiring strong technical expertise, responsiveness, and the ability to operate in dynamic, international project environments.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide rapid response and resolution to customer-reported faults across AGV hardware and software systemsPerform diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair, ensuring minimal downtime and fast system recoveryDeliver remote and on-site technical support, including emergency interventions when requiredSupport installation, commissioning, and system testing at customer sitesDevelop and deliver technical documentation (service reports, operating manuals, training materials) in EnglishConduct customer training sessions on system operation, maintenance, and best practicesCarry out preventative maintenance and system inspections to reduce risk and improve reliabilityManage local spare parts inventory, coordinating with global teamsGather and communicate customer feedback, contributing to continuous product improvementEnsure all work is conducted in accordance with local health, safety, and compliance standardsCandidate RequirementsDegree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related fieldExperience working with AGV systems, robotics, or warehouse automation technologiesStrong technical knowledge of sensors, control systems, and network communicationAbility to interpret electrical schematics and CAD drawingsHands-on experience with diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeter)Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Chinese language skills are highly advantageous)Experience producing technical reports, documentation, and training materialsStrong problem-solving ability with a customer-focused mindsetAbility to work independently and within multinational teamsFlexibility to travel internationally when requiredPreferred QualificationsExperience within intralogistics, warehousing, or automation environmentsAdditional language skills such as Spanish or GermanRelevant technical certifications (electrical, automation systems, or similar)Why Join?Work with cutting-edge robotics and automation technologyJoin a fast-growing international organisation with a strong innovation focusGain exposure to global projects and major enterprise clientsClear opportunities for career progression and technical developmentCompetitive salary and benefits package aligned to US market standardsProcess & Additional InformationWork Type: On-site (New Jersey or Los Angeles)Employment Structure: Third-party employment (EOR model)Interview Process: HR InterviewRegional Leadership InterviewGlobal Leadership InterviewReporting into regional leadership within the international business division
