Job description
YMCA of Southwestern NC is seeking a part-time Literacy Specialist to provide individualized and small-group tutoring to students in the afterschool program. You will assess reading strengths, plan engaging activities, and support homework with a focus on literacy, fostering a positive learning environment.
You will collaborate with program staff, maintain records, and participate in staff meetings to promote student success and confidence in literacy skills.
