Job description
Job TitleEssential FunctionsPlacing sealed individual units in packaging and ensuring proper package sealing.Repackaging improperly sealed, or coded, product.Disposing of scrap product and raw materials.Keeping work area clean.Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, local, and Ziegenfelder environmental, health, and safety directives, policies, and procedures.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)Must be 18 years of age or olderPrior experience in food service or production preferredPhysical RequirementsStand for up to 8 hours per shiftRegularly move and lift items up to 50 lbs.Perform continuous bending, twisting, reaching, and grasping motionsWork safely around manufacturing equipment with good spatial awarenessWorking ConditionsExposure to noise levels above 85 decibels (hearing protection provided)Compensation & BenefitsStarting Pay: $17.00 per hourSchedule: 40 hours per week with consecutive set days offBenefits: Begin on the first day after 60 days of employment401(k) with company matchingEmployee discountsPaid holidaysWho We AreThe Armstrong Group is a family owned and operated collection of diverse companies.
