We value the diverse talents and experiences our employees bring to Patterson and believe that they build a stronger and successful organization.The Seasonal Inoculant Service Technician will assist our sales and service staff with the delivery, installation, service, and operation of forage and silage inoculant products and application systems. The Inoculant Service Technician will also assist in delivering feed ingredient delivery and servicing dispensing systems. These positions will begin in the Spring 2027, and last through Fall 2027.ResponsibilitiesHelp with installation, service, and repair of forage and silage inoculant dispensing systemsPerform reconciliation of inoculant usage and inventory and maintain accurate recordsTransact all business in accordance to Animal Health International's code of ethics and conductDeliver products and equipment throughout the sales area as neededMaintain a violation free driving recordLimited overnight travelOther duties as assigned to the Inoculant Service TechnicianQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent experience is required.Experience harvesting and storing agricultural cropsExperience operating and maintaining equipmentGreat attention to detailAbility to work well with customers and other employeesAbility to apply basic math skills to everyday situationsStrong mechanical aptitudeAwareness of hazards and ability to work safely around potentially hazardous conditionsAbility to work overtime and on weekendsValid driver's licenseMust be able to lift, carry, and stack 50 lb. bagsAdditional FunctionsWork Ethic: Commitment and desire to work with a sense of urgency and persistence in overcoming obstacles while following Patterson's business conduct and code of ethics and responsibilities.Problem Solving Skills: Anticipates problems and customer needs and goes beyond training to find answers.Interpersonal Skills: Establishes and maintains productive, mutually beneficial relationships with customers, vendors and colleagues.
