Job description

AGILE SOFTWARE PROJECT MANAGER – IT/OT SUPPORTLead and manage agile and waterfall software development from inception to completion. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Implement and maintain agile methodologies, ensuring teams adhere to best practices. Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, and retrospective sessions. Monitor and report project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on continuous improvement. Work closely with product owners to prioritize and refine the product backlog. Coordinate release planning and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software. Resolve conflicts and remove impediments to keep the team productive. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in agile practices. Communicate effectively between technical and non-technical people.Proven experience as an Agile Project Manager in a software development environment. Strong understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.). Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and navigate ambiguity. Familiarity with project management tools and software development lifecycle. Relevant certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) is a plus. Must demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills. Strong teamwork skills are required as well.Success in leveraging both traditional practices (waterfall), as well as emerging methods (e.g., Agile, DevOps, DevSecOps, etc.) that are optimized for agility. Experience managing and integrating IT/OT products for large-scale complex projects. Experience implementing IaaS, PaaS, SaaS solutions that include software/hardware components or sensors. Working knowledge of data and information security in such as DoD, DOE or NNSA environment a plus. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 6 years experience in agile software methodologies and High School diploma if no college degree.Teamwork – ability to foster teamwork collaboratively as a participant, and effectively as a team leader. Leadership – ability to guide and lead colleagues on projects and initiatives. Business Acumen – understanding and insight into how organizations perform, including business processes, data, systems, and people. Communication – ability to effectively communicate to stakeholders of all levels orally and in writing. Motivation – persistent in pursuit of quality and optimal client and company solutions. Agility – ability to quickly understand and transition between different projects, concepts, initiatives, or work streams. Judgment – exercises prudence and insight in decision-making process while mindful of other stakeholders and long-term ramifications. Organization – ability to manage projects and activity, and prioritize tasks.Business Tools – understanding and proficiency with business tools and technology, including Microsoft Office. The ideal candidate is advanced with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word, and proficient with Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio with the ability to quickly learn other tools as necessary.
