Full Time - Urology APRN or PA-C. AdventHealth Medical Group Urology. Campus Covered: AdventHealth East Orlando.
General Summary
The PA or APRN under the supervision of the Physician, who acts as the collaborative practitioner, is responsible for:
Performing physical examinations of patients; evaluating and treating acute and chronic urologic conditions, including urologic oncology, within the clinic and hospital setting.
Ordering and interpreting appropriate diagnostic tests, such as routine laboratory work, X‑ray, etc.
Monitoring the patient’s course of treatment and making appropriate referrals to a physician or specialist, as needed.
Collaborating with physicians and staff as necessary to provide consistent care to patients and support to staff.
Displaying a caring and professional attitude at all times while maintaining personal and professional growth.
Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with employees, patients, and the public.
Schedule Details
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Campus Covered: AH East Orlando & Lake Nona.
Call – every 5th weekend.
Required Education/Experience
Master’s degree in Nursing (APRN) with First Assist certification or Physician Assistant (PA‑C) studies.
Urology experience preferred.
Licensure, Certification, and Registration
Current, valid Florida PA or APRN license.
Certification by NCCPA, ANCC, or equivalent.
First Assist Certification (APRN).
BLS and ACLS.
