Job description
NScale is seeking a Director of Substation & Grid Engineering to lead the design of substations, transformers, switchgear, and protection schemes for our data center portfolio. You will own load and generator interconnection studies, coordinate with utilities, ISOs/RTOs, and transmission owners, and mentor a team of Staff Engineers to deliver reliable, scalable power for high-density AI workloads.
