Job description
Aide Clinical Assistant - Oncology Infusion PRNSupport nursing practice and care delivery through a blend of direct patient care, communication, and clerical duties.Efficiently manage supplies and equipment, complete tasks promptly, leave shifts on time, and utilize timekeeping systems. Demonstrate productivity, accept extra duty and float assignments, complete work orders, and support unit goals to reduce waste.Participate and document according to unit standards, stay current with policy updates, problem-solve, multitask within scope, suggest improvements for unit flow and patient experience, and accept delegated tasks appropriately. Engage in teamwork.Promote patient satisfaction through recognition, timely responses, professional use of personal devices, maintaining a quiet environment, excellent guest relations, and purposeful patient rounding.Practice safe patient mobilization, implement fall prevention, use two patient identifiers for all tasks, utilize event management for unusual occurrences, adjust care routines as assigned, and adhere to HIPAA and social media policies.Share knowledge with colleagues, demonstrate leadership, serve as a resource and preceptor, identify learning needs, collaborate with management on development opportunities, and participate in departmental goal implementation and in-services.Engage patients and families, maintain a professional and quiet environment, be flexible with assignments and staffing, practice AIDET communication, foster teamwork, and provide holistic care to diverse populations.High school diploma or GED required; alternatively, a past or active CNA license or graduation from a CNA program with 5+ years of CNA experience is accepted in lieu of diploma or GED.Basic BLS certification must be obtained within 3 months of hire.1st ShiftRegional healthcare facility in the Midwest United States.
