DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position supports treatment and training services that help individuals build self-care, social, and health maintenance skills. You will work with staff members across the Interdisciplinary Team to ensure that each person receives thoughtful and effective support.
As an Aide Trainee, you will perform the following duties:
Self-Care Support: Assist individuals by completing designated portions of assessments and plans to provide accurate information
Plan Implementation: Carry out assigned training plans and procedures to support active treatment
Progress Monitoring: Record and report essential information to help refine individual plans and improve services
Team Collaboration: Communicate with team members to share updates on strengths, needs, and skills
Environment Enhancement: Participate in selecting and arranging personal items and furnishings to support a therapeutic setting
Role Modeling: Follow policies and uphold dignity, privacy, and rights for individuals served

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment.
2nd shift (2:45 PM to 11:15 PM)Work hours during training are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
Rotating schedule and days off
Travel: As needed
Overtime: Is required
May change based on operational needs.

Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $38,411.00 (before taxes).

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: No previous experience needed, training provided.

Must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require satisfactory completion of a medical examination and drug screening test.
This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
