Pipe to flange fitter/welder fits, aligns, and welds pipes to flanges according to blueprints in industrial manufacturing.
Job Responsibilities Fit and align pipes to flanges using blueprints and technical specifications.
Measure, cut, and prep pipe components for permanent welding and assembly.
Verify accurate fit-up, squareness, gaps, and tolerances prior to welding.
Operate hand tools, grinders, torches, and precision measuring devices (tape measures, squares, levels).
Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to workplace safety standards.
Requirements & Qualifications Previous pipe-to-flange fitting or heavy industrial welding experience.
Ability to read and interpret complex fabrication blueprints and drawings.
Strong physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, or reach during a full shift.
Prior fabrication background working with air coolers, pressure vessels, or heavy industrial equipment is strongly preferred.
