Aircraft Maintenance Technician (Part-Time)Flightcheck Commercial Aviation was founded in 2004 and is now one of the largest Commercial Line Maintenance providers. We provide technical handling, aircraft de-icing and limited ground handling for over 25 Domestic and International Airlines. Flightcheck provides workplace stability, Flexible Schedules, Affordable Comprehensive Benefits as well as development and training opportunities for you to grow your career with us!We are currently seeking exceptional individuals to join our Aircraft Maintenance Technician (Part-Time) team at LAS, in Las Vegas, NV!The Aircraft Maintenance Technician will perform aircraft line maintenance activities in accordance with company, FAA, other regulatory, and customer standards. Responsible for accomplishing unscheduled/scheduled maintenance; to include, troubleshooting engines, landing gear, hydraulic systems, airframes, electrical systems, and oxygen systems. Remove and replace various system components, as required.What we offer:Pay from $35-$40 per hour- based on experience401k with a company matchPart-Time opportunityFamily oriented cultureIn-house certification opportunitiesStable work environment with continuous development and training opportunities to help you grow your career with us!Duties and Responsibilities:Perform all aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with Flightcheck's RSM, QCM, customers' procedures, FARs, and all other applicable rules and regulationsAccomplish job functions to the highest safety, quality, reliable, and efficient standardsComplete aircraft maintenance work assignments to the highest standards to ensure aircraft airworthinessAble to read, interpret, and comply with all aircraft maintenance manuals and other maintenance documents to complete work assignmentsMust be customer service-orientedEnsure all company, customer, and regulatory documents are complete and accurateProperly use and operate support equipment in performance of assigned duties, i.e., servicing units, jacks, lifts, calibrated tooling, etc.Occasional travelPerform other duties as they are assignedRequirements:Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalentMust have Airframe and Powerplant LicenseMust have a minimum of 2-3 years of experienceMust have a valid A&P and State Driver's LicenseMust be able to read, write and understand English and the ability to interpret technical data and special operating instructionsMust be able to lift and move up to 70 poundsMust be able to pass background check and pre-employment drug screeningMust be able to climb ladders ranging from 6 to 10 feet tallPreferred, but not required:CRJ200EMB-145B737NGA320/321B767Workplace environment:Schedule - Part-TimePotential exposure to fumes or airborne particles, toxic chemicals, and moving mechanical parts.Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and extreme heat.The noise level in the work environment is typically loud.FlightCheck is an equal opportunity employer and will consider all applications without regards to race, sex, age, color, religion, national origin, veteran status, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information or any characteristic protected by law.
