Job description
Aircraft PainterExperience with painting in a professional environment in aviation or autobody. 5+ years experience with direct application of painting high gloss surfaces and encompassing prep to achieve "show car" finish. 5-7 years experience minimum of paint prep. Able to train individuals on how to properly apply a variety of paints to multiple surface (preferred). Advanced to expert knowledge in spray gun usage and adjustments of paint mixtures for proper spray application. Advanced to expert knowledge of equipment setup for paint application booth setting such as light, filters, air pressure, etc… Advanced to expert knowledge of stencil application for post paint surfaces applying after minimum cure time ensuring the painted surface will not be damaged once stencil is removed proper placement/alignment of stencils along various curvatures of vertical and horizontal surfaces.
