nRole Purpose
nThe Aircraft Security Agent is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of passengers, employees, aircraft, and airport facilities. This role involves screening individuals and property, monitoring access points, and enforcing security regulations in compliance with federal, state, and airport authority requirements.
nWhat you will be doing nnnnScreen passengers, baggage, and cargo using approved security procedures and equipment
n
nnControl access to secure and restricted areas of the airport
n
nnActively participate in the Safety Management System (SMS)
n
nnVerify identification and travel documents
n
nnMonitor surveillance systems and report suspicious activity
n
nnConduct routine patrols of airport terminals, gates, and ramp areas
n
nnRespond to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a timely manner
n
nnEnforce airport security regulations and company policies
n
nnProvide customer service while maintaining a high level of vigilance
n
nnComplete incident reports and maintain accurate documentation
n
nnCoordinate with law enforcement and airport authorities as needed
n
nnPerform other duties as requested

nWhat we are looking for:
nnnHigh school diploma or equivalent
n
nnAbility to pass background check and obtain required security clearances (e.g., TSA badge)
n
nnPrevious security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred but not required
n
nnBasic computer skills for reporting and system monitoring
n
nnValid driver’s license (if required by role)
n
nnPrevious security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred but not required
n
nnAbility to stand and walk for extended periods
n
nnAbility to lift up to 40 lbs (as required)
n
nnAbility to work in a fast-paced and high-security environment
n
nnWillingness to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
n
nnStrong observation and attention to detail
n
nnAbility to remain calm and professional under pressure
n
nnGood communication and interpersonal skills
n
nnSound judgment and decision-making ability
n
nnDemonstrates a high level of integrity and reliability
n
nnAirport terminal and airside operations
n
nnExposure to high passenger volume, noise, and varying weather conditions
n
nnMay require shift work, including early mornings and overnight shift
