This is what has driven our teams since 1833.Since that time, we have developed to become a critical partner in the global aviation industry, delivering time-critical logistics services at over 300 locations in 65 countries, across 6 continents.But at the heart of our business is our people.Role PurposeThe Aircraft Security Agent is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of passengers, employees, aircraft, and airport facilities. This role involves screening individuals and property, monitoring access points, and enforcing security regulations in compliance with federal, state, and airport authority requirements.What You Will Be DoingScreen passengers, baggage, and cargo using approved security procedures and equipmentControl access to secure and restricted areas of the airportActively participate in the Safety Management System (SMS)Verify identification and travel documentsMonitor surveillance systems and report suspicious activityConduct routine patrols of airport terminals, gates, and ramp areasRespond to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a timely mannerEnforce airport security regulations and company policiesProvide customer service while maintaining a high level of vigilanceComplete incident reports and maintain accurate documentationCoordinate with law enforcement and airport authorities as neededPerform other duties as requestedSafety, Security, Wellbeing and Compliance:You will have a responsibility and duty whilst at work to take reasonable care of the health, safety and wellbeing of yourself and others in accordance with provided information, training, and workplace health and safety rules or procedures.
