Job description
Aviation Life Support Equipment Specialist
Help
Carry out the accountability, fitting, modification, inspection, issue, repair, maintenance, and records for Aviation Life Support Equipment.
Manage the inventory, ordering, and accountability of materials including maintaining a financial budget and stocking flight gear, medical supplies, and controlled items like signaling devices.
Complete and update maintenance records and reports.
Load and maintains survival radios with encrypted keys required for survival and flight operations.
Brief aircrew and non-aircrew on the proper operation, use, and maintenance of ALSE.
Assist in on-the-job training for employees and conducts annual training on survival equipment
Receiving, reviewing, and disseminating technical and administrative publications to update standard operating procedures (SOPs), checklists, and briefing materials.
