Job description
The Albany Stratton VA Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Ophthalmologist (Retina Specialist) to provide comprehensive eye care to Veterans. In this role, you will deliver diagnostic, therapeutic, and surgical ophthalmologic services across multiple care settings, including the eye clinic, inpatient units, operating room, and Emergency Department. You will also supervise ophthalmology residents in clinical and surgical environments and contribute to educational programming while working collaboratively within a highly supportive, mission-driven team.

Additional advantages include liability protection and no restrictive physician employment contracts. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:30 am-4:00 pm, with shared call responsibilities. U.S. citizenship, an unrestricted medical license, completion of an accredited ophthalmology residency, and board eligibility or certification are required.
