Job description
September Start | Full-Time | Ongoing
Full-time locums coverage beginning September
10-hour shifts: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday
Weekday beeper call: 5:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Weekend call: 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM
Must be willing to work at both St. Petersburg General and Pasadena Hospital
Flexible scheduling required based on daily surgical volume
Mix of own cases and medical direction
MD:CRNA ratio 1:3-1:4 (St. Pete) | 1:5 (Pasadena)
5-20 cases per day
Cases
General Surgery
Orthopedics
Upper & Lower Extremity Regional Blocks
OB Spinals & Epidurals
TAP Blocks
Endoscopy
Bread-and-butter community anesthesia cases
Requirements
BC in Anesthesiology
1-2+ years of experience required (5-10 years preferred)
Must be comfortable supervising CRNAs and working own cases
Must be willing to cover both facilities
