NP/PA Orthopedic Opening in Brattleboro, Vermont Located 60 miles from Springfield, MA and 80 miles from Manchester, NHPosition Details: Full-time, permanent position
The Orthopedic Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) assists the orthopedic surgeons in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal conditions
The PA or NP will practice under a supervising physician with responsibilities to include conducting patient evaluations, formulating treatment plans, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, assisting in surgeries, providing patient education, and managing post-operative care
They may also perform procedures like joint injections, aspirations, reductions and wound care

Qualifications: Excellent communication and clinical skills are essential for this role
Certification/degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
New graduates and non-surgical specialty experience will be considered
Eligible for licensure as a PA-C or NP by the State of Vermont
Eligible for certification as an PA or NP by a nationally recognized organization, which is recognized by the Vermont State Board of Medical Practice
Healthcare Provider CPR certification
DEA license
