Cardiology Physician Assistant Opening in Bridgeport, CT 55 miles from Hartford, CT; 60 miles from NYCPositon Details: Full-time
Join heart and vascular practice
The Physician Assistant will provide direct care to patients in the inpatient setting in collaboration with physician. Must have ability to identify diagnostic information that should be considered emergent and communicate timely information to physician colleague.
The Physician Assistant, in collaboration with a licensed physician and in accordance the Physician Assistants scope of practice and collaborative relationships, prescribe, dispense and administer therapeutic and corrective measures. The provider should exhibit a passion for cardiology and be open to being part of a rapidly growing institute where adaptability is paramount.
Shift: Full Time; 40 hours; M-F, 1 weekend a month
No on-call

Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Masters Program
Licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) in the state of Connecticut
Experience in cardiology preferred
