Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) Carrollton, GA West Georgia Äî Level III NICU, Nationally Recognized Health System Position Details Full-time, permanent position Setting: Level III NICU (10 beds) and 20-bed newborn nursery unit Schedule: Structured shift schedule including 16- and 24-hour shifts Must reside within the immediate local area required Äî relocation may be required Not accepting locums or visa candidates Practice OverviewSeeking an experienced NNP to join a collaborative NICU team in a newly renovated, state-of-the-art hospital environment serving approximately 1,000 annual births: Provide advanced neonatal care in a Level III NICU with 10 beds Manage and support care for high-acuity newborns requiring intensive monitoring and treatment Work within a 20-bed newborn nursery unit providing daily NNP coverage support Collaborate closely with neonatologists and multidisciplinary hospital teams Deliver comprehensive neonatal assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning Support continuity of care from admission through stabilization and discharge Work in a newly renovated, state-of-the-art hospital environment Contribute to high-quality, patient-centered neonatal care within a community-focused health system Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience and training Sign-on bonuses available Relocation assistance may be offered Medical, dental, and vision coverage Life and disability insurance Healthcare FSA, Dependent Care FSA, and HSA options 401(k) retirement plan Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP) Voluntary benefit options with payroll deduction Comprehensive employee and family wellness support programs Required Qualifications Current APRN national specialty certification Äî required Master's degree in Nursing Äî required Neonatology training/fellowship Äî required, no exemptions Active Georgia APRN license or willingness to obtain Äî highly preferred DEA Äî required, must be obtained prior to start, no exemptions Clean malpractice and license history Äî highly preferred NPDB Self-Query Report within 30 days Äî required, no exemptions Visa support status (J-1 or H-1B) must be noted at submission Visa candidates not accepted Locums candidates not accepted About the Community Äì Carrollton, Georgia Charming city in the rolling hills of west Georgia Äî home to the University of West Georgia Vibrant college town atmosphere with arts, dining, and community events Affordable cost of living with excellent schools and family-friendly neighborhoods Outdoor recreation including hiking, fishing, and exploring west Georgia's natural landscapes Convenient access to Atlanta Äî approximately 45 Äì60 minutes east via I-20 Warm Southern hospitality with a strong sense of community pride
