Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) Opening Macon, GA Located in Macon, GeorgiaFull-Time, Permanent Practice Overview Full-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner opportunity in Macon, Georgia Join an established team of Neonatologists and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners at a dedicated children's hospital Practice in a modern 66-bed Level III NICU within a state-of-the-art children's hospital Variable schedule including 10-hour weekday shifts, 8-hour weekend shifts, and designated 16-hour night coverage No call responsibilities Provide care for high-acuity neonatal patients utilizing advanced therapies including high-frequency ventilation, inhaled nitric oxide, and therapeutic hypothermia (brain cooling) Collaborate with experienced Neonatologists, Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, and pediatric subspecialists Strong multidisciplinary support with readily available pediatric specialty services Opportunity for a clinical faculty appointment with Mercer University School of Medicine Practice within a Level I Trauma Center, one of Georgia's designated regional perinatal/neonatal referral centers, and a three-time Magnet-designated hospital for nursing excellence Compensation & Recruitment Package Competitive compensation based on experience Sign-on bonus may be available Relocation assistance may be available Tuition reimbursement opportunities Recruitment incentives may be available Job Qualifications Master's degree or Doctorate in Nursing required Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) required FNP, PNP, and other NP certifications are not accepted Minimum of 2 years of current Neonatal Nurse Practitioner experience required (RN experience does not qualify) Georgia APRN license or eligibility DEA registration required prior to start Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance Short- and long-term disability coverage 401(k) with employer match Employee stock purchase program Long-term care insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) Identity protection benefits Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Supplemental hospital, accident, and critical illness coverage Community DetailsMacon, Georgia offers a unique blend of Southern hospitality, rich history, and modern amenities in the heart of the state.
