Locums Neurosurgery NP/PA Seattle, WA (Active WA License Required) Why This Role Four 10-hour shifts per week
Ongoing assignment likely extending through spring
First-assist experience preferred but not required
Epic EMR
Assignment Details Start Date: As soon as privileged; anticipated October 2026
Duration: Ongoing, likely through spring 2027
Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week
Shift: 7:00 a.m. Äì5:00 p.m.
Setting: Inpatient
Daily Volume: Approximately 10 patients
Weekend Call: Occasional Saturday and Sunday coverage
Weekend Hours: 7:00 a.m. Äì7:00 p.m.
Call Structure: Morning rounds followed by beeper call
Response Time: 20 minutes
EMR: Epic
Credentialing: Approximately 30 Äì60 days
Temporary Privileges: Available
Housing: Long-term housing may be considered with advance approval
Requirements Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Active and unrestricted Washington license
Active DEA
Current ACLS and BLS
Previous Neurosurgery experience
Full-time availability for four 10-hour shifts per week
Ability to provide occasional weekend rounding and beeper call
Clinical Details Manage assigned inpatient Neurosurgery patients
Conduct daily and weekend rounds
Provide clinical follow-up and care coordination
Respond to phone consultations and weekend beeper calls
Collaborate with three Neurosurgery APPs and established clinical support staff
Surgical first-assist experience is preferred but not required
No APP supervision or teaching responsibilities
