Job description
Anesthesia Technician
We are seeking an experienced Anesthesia Technician to join our team. This position will require the technician to be scheduled in accordance with facility policy, with expectations to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.
Responsibilities
Assist anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals in providing anesthesia care to patients.
Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies, ensuring all items are ready for use.
Monitor and assess patient reactions and responses during anesthesia administration.
Support patient safety by adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
Participate in training and education for staff and support ongoing improvement efforts.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Anesthesia Technician.
Strong understanding of anesthesia procedures and equipment.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated commitment to patient care and safety.
