Hospice Chaplain
Job Title: Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) Location: Albany, Oregon Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM x 5 Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension Pay Rate: $49 - $53/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) for a temporary assignment in Albany, Oregon. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC):
• Provide pastoral and spiritual care support to patients and family members through the final stages of illness • Deliver services in home settings including patient residences, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and adult foster homes • Provide intermittent skilled nursing visit support and participate in 24-hour on-call services as needed • Assist with pain and symptom management support from a spiritual care perspective • Offer counseling and spiritual support to patients and their families • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including medical social services, hospice aides, volunteers, and bereavement support staff • Maintain ordination, commission, license, or endorsement by a pastoral/spiritual community • Apply training in pastoral/spiritual care such as Stephen's Ministry, Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE), or equivalent coursework • Travel to multiple points of care using personal automobile with valid driver's license and required auto insurance • Maintain personal vehicle in good working order to support work assignments across service counties • Serve patients across assigned county regions as required
