Job Description
Occupational Therapy Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide high-quality therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. The ideal candidate will assist patients in developing and restoring functional independence while adhering to state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines.
Responsibilities
Implement therapy interventions according to the Occupational Therapist's plan of care.
Document patient progress in an accurate and timely manner.
Assist with patient and family education regarding therapy goals and techniques.
Communicate patient status effectively to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Active state COTA license or ability to obtain one.
Strong teamwork and patient care skills.
