Job Description
Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide quality care and support in helping patients develop and restore functional independence under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT). This role is vital in assisting patients in their recovery and rehabilitation journey.
Responsibilities
Implement therapy interventions in accordance with the OT's plan of care.
Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
Assist with education for patients and their families.
Communicate patient status effectively to the supervising OT.
Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.
Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Active state COTA license (or ability to obtain).
Strong teamwork skills and a commitment to patient care.
