Job Description
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess acute care experience and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Schedule
Shift: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:30)
Every 4th weekend required
Responsibilities
The COTA will be responsible for delivering general acute care, including: Medical and surgical support
Orthopedic care
Neurological practices
Neurosurgery assistance
Cardiac care
Critical care management
Support within an Acute Rehab Facility, focusing on an average length of stay of 2 weeks
Working with a high percentage of stroke patients
Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care setting
BLS certification
Current Minnesota license
Travelers must have a primary residence at least 25 miles away from the facility
