Job Description
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to provide essential therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT). The successful candidate will adhere to all state and federal regulations as well as facility guidelines while assisting patients in restoring mobility, enhancing functionality, and achieving their treatment goals.
Responsibilities:
Deliver therapy interventions in accordance with the PT's plan of care.
Document patient progress and responses to treatment accurately and in a timely manner.
Assist in patient education regarding therapy processes and home exercise programs.
Communicate effectively with the supervising PT regarding patient status and progress.
Adhere to safety standards, infection control protocols, and compliance regulations.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Possession of an active state PTA license or the ability to obtain one.
Strong ability to follow treatment plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
