Rehabilitation Therapy/Orthopedics - Physical Therapist
Job Title: PT Location: Frederick, Maryland Schedule: 7:00AM - 7:00PM x 3 Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension Pay Rate: $46 - $49/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a PT for a temporary assignment in Frederick, Maryland. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a PT:
Evaluate and treat orthopedic patients including post-operative orthopedic patients, total joint replacements, neck and back pain, spine rehabilitation, sports injuries, and general musculoskeletal conditions
Develop individualized treatment plans for each patient
Deliver evidence-based one-on-one care
Utilize manual therapy techniques when appropriate
Educate patients and families regarding treatment and care
Document care using EMR
Collaborate with an experienced rehabilitation team
Participate in community outreach and wellness initiatives
Maintain Maryland Physical Therapy license (or eligibility)
Maintain current American Heart Association BLS certification
