Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team in a dynamic Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The role involves providing specialized respiratory care to neonates in a high-acuity environment.

Unit Information
Number of Beds: 36 Bed Level 3 NICU
Number of Staff: 2 Respiratory Therapists for both day and night shifts
Patient Ratios: 2 therapists to cover the unit during peak volumes
Type of Equipment: Drager VN500 ventilators, 3100A Oscillators, Mallinckrodt Nitric Oxide, and Vapotherms
Electronic Medical Records: Meditech and NeoNotes
Job Responsibilities Attend high-risk deliveries to provide immediate respiratory support
Manage ventilator settings for conventional as well as high-frequency oscillatory ventilation
Administer surfactant therapy and monitor responses
Perform blood gas acquisition and interpretation
Provide Nitric Oxide therapy as needed
Qualifications Must Have:
Experience in Level 3 NICU; candidates with 3-5 years of Level 2 NICU experience will be considered
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
Preferred:
STABLE certification
Desired Skills and Characteristics Positive attitude and the ability to work independently
Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail
