Unit Profile
Location: Tallahassee, FL
Unit: Respiratory
Number of Beds: 266
Equipment: Various Ventilators, Bipaps
Documentation System: Meditech
Scheduling Requirements: Minimum of three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends.
Floating Policy: Will rotate throughout all inpatient units.
Patient Experience Requirements: Use of AIDET.
Hiring Profile
Requested Skill Set Critical Care & Emergency Care
Advanced Skills Needed: Ability to perform aerosol treatments, Bipap management, and ventilator management.
Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP.
Dress Code
Required uniform: Scrubs

Additional Information
The Respiratory Therapy team consists of 30 skilled colleagues with diverse experience levels. The therapists rotate through various floors and two ICUs, working at the top of their licenses. All staff are adept in performing intubation, arterial line insertion, and bedside bronchoscopy assist. The team actively participates in daily interdisciplinary rounding to enhance patient care. We utilize advanced equipment including Puritan Bennet 980 ventilators, Vapotherm, Phillips V60+, and Siemens EPOC bedside ABG analyzers to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
