Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing comprehensive cardiopulmonary services, following established protocols and departmental policies to ensure optimal patient care.
Responsibilities
Assist physicians with both invasive and non-invasive procedures.
Deliver medicated aerosols using medical compressed gas.
Maintain patient airways and manage ventilators.
Perform intubations and conduct blood gas analyses.
Provide timely diagnostic and therapeutic services to inpatients and outpatients.
Qualifications MUST possess BLS and ACLS certifications.
Minimum experience in ICU, general floors, and emergency department (ED).
Basic knowledge of NICU and pediatric care to support the ED as needed.
Certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care.
A strong commitment to high-quality patient care and teamwork.
Schedule
This position requires availability for day shifts, typically from 0630 to 1900, working three 12-hour shifts per week.
Location
This role is located in the region of Northwest Medical Center.
