Respiratory Therapy - Respiratory Therapist
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Respiratory Therapy Technician (RRT) for a temporary assignment in Lawton, Oklahoma. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Job Title: RRT Location: Lawton, Oklahoma Schedule: 7:00PM - 7:00AM x 4 Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension Pay Rate: $49 - $53/hr
Responsibilities for a RRT:
Examine patients with breathing issues, analyze blood/sputum, and conduct lung capacity tests
Provide oxygen, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy to improve breathing
Manage, set up, and operate mechanical ventilators for patients unable to breathe on their own
Provide emergency care, including artificial respiration, bronchopulmonary hygiene, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
Update patient records, consult with physicians on treatment plans, and assist with discharge planning
Educate patients and families on how to manage diseases and use home equipment
