Speech Therapist (SLP)
Position Information:
Role: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Specialty: Acute care
Number of Openings: 1
Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40
Weekend Hours: 8
Call Requirements: None
Qualifications: Required Certifications: Licensed CCC-SLP in ME, BLS
Years of Experience: 1 year
Float Requirements: May need to cover acute rehab intermittently
Unit Information: Number of Beds: 250
EHR: Epic
Patient Population: Adult/geriatric
Common Responsibilities: Conduct evaluations and treatment for swallowing, cognition, language, and voice disorders.
Perform modified barium swallow studies (MBSS).
Collaborate with a team of SLPs to deliver quality patient care.
Candidate Profile: Must Have Skills/Experience: Acute care/critical care, modified barium swallow studies.
Preferred Skillset/Experience: Acute rehab.
Personality Fit: Ability to work cohesively with a team of 1-2 other full-time SLPs and 1-2 PRN SLPs.
Education Requirement: MA or MS in Speech-Language Pathology
