Job Description
Pharmacist
Department: Inpatient Pharmacy
Schedule: The pharmacist is expected to work Monday to Friday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Weekend and holiday shifts are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Role Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to inpatients.
Ensure the safe and effective use of medications through accurate verification and monitoring.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy.
Prepare and dispense medications accurately and efficiently.
Educate patients and healthcare providers on medication-related issues.
Qualifications
Active pharmacist license in the relevant jurisdiction.
Strong knowledge of pharmacology and medication therapy management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
License/Certificate Verification
Verification of required licenses and certifications is essential prior to employment.
