Job description
PTAThis position offers a daytime shift from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM.The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will collaborate with physical therapists to provide high-quality patient care. The PTA will support treatment plans as directed, assist in the rehabilitation of patients, and promote recovery through therapeutic exercises and interventions.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the administration of physical therapy treatment as directed by a licensed physical therapist.Monitor patient progress and report changes in patient status to the supervising therapist.Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercises.Document patient care and maintain accurate clinical records.Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients.QualificationsAssociate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a team setting.Commitment to professional development and patient care.Physical RequirementsThe role may involve lifting, standing, and moving patients as part of the rehabilitation process.
